Ida Martinez is the Psychology and Honors College Librarian. She has served as an academic advisor and college admissions counselor to Latino/a students at New Mexico State University and DePaul University. At Cornell University, she was the university library subject specialist and liaison for their Latino Studies Program. As Social Sciences Librarian at Emory University, she honed her skills as a library research specialist in psychology and educational studies. Here at GSU, she provides library skills training and research support for psychology and honors students working on course projects or theses. Though her area of expertise is psychology, she is trained in information seeking skills and tools in a wide variety of other subject areas.
She has been a CLALS affiliate since the Fall of 2012.
